Theresa May unveils the new Jubilee Clock at Pearson Hall in Sonning

A traditional village clock marking the Diamond Jubilee has been unveiled by MP Theresa May.

The clock, made by the bespoke Smith of Derby group, was installed for around £8,500 thanks largely to generous donations from the village.

The Sonning MP visited Pearson Hall in Pearson Road, Sonning, in October to pull a Union Flag from the commemorative clock.

The Rev Jamie Taylor said:

The parish commemorated the jubilee in many spectacular ways like festivals and parties.
